And it gets better. On 22 days of the month, wind power generated enough electricity to power every home in Scotland. Someone's clearly been keeping their new year's resolution.

Madrid is banning cars and covering itself in trees
Climate change is raising temperatures in Madrid. So the city is turning disused roads and plazas into parks, and covering buildings in greenery. Some green roof pilots brought temperatures down by four degrees fahrenheit!
