Phoenixs comment to Guardian article on Love Activists...get involved lets SNOWBALL a National Housing Debate on SOLUTIONS to Housing Crisis #olsx @occupynn

We are calling for a national housing debate, the figures speak for themselves 1.5 million empty buildings,110,000 homeless thats 10 empty buildings for every homeless person. The supply is being restricted and that pumps up rents and prices, for many hard working people.
Squatting is a life saver for many people on the street.
The Government and media sold a LARGE LIE,that is echoed many times. You cannot squat someones home while they at shops or on holiday. There was a law called the Displaced Residential Occupier,1975/77? which meant police could kick u out immediately if u did this.
You can only squat an EMPTY building.Shelter is a basic Human Right.
The housing crisis has been falsely created,
The Mp Mike weatherley who sponsored the law to criminalise homeless people taking shelter in residential buildings,(Squatting = SELF HOUSING )
was paid by Landlords associations £100,000 to his campaign fund.
This is NOT corruption they claim as it has been all declared above board in the house of commons register.Such is the state of our corporatocracy.
for more info check www.squashcampaign.org www.squatter.org.uk #occupydemocracy #dragemout #olsx @occupynn and my blog for updates from the streets, squats and front lines of change www.phoenixrainbow23.blogspot.co.uk ........more soon got to go help some people with a new squat, its started to rain, keep bringing support to Love Street 2A Charing Cross rd....this is just the beginning Homes for ALL campaign 2015
...SOLUTION Proposal make a list of all buildings that are going to be empty from 1-5 years, owners to declare.
Then make a list of those needing housing.
Create Jobs and employment for roofers plumbers,n builders recycling some of these buildings for homes, projects and community spaces.
(We have had many arranged deals with landlords to stay in a squatted building for the INTERIM period until they need to use it.
Formalise this arrangement for the Good of ALL.)Solving Housing Crisis and lowering extortionate rents and spiralling house price inflation.Houses went up 30% in london last year.we need a Housing debate up to and beyond the next election to create SOLUTIONS...great that this comment section in the Guardian is exploding that debate into the National Publics eye....keep networking...
