Bolivia: Evo Morales Intends to Prosecute the IMF for Economic Damage - The Argentina Independent | The Argentina Independent

The president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, proposed on Monday to sue the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for destroying the Bolivian economy through the implementing of privatization policies in previous governments.
Morales stated that the international organization that implemented privatization policies meant serious damage to the Bolivian economy.
He said that in Boliva “there were governments that were submitted to the IMF and international mandates that destroyed the national economy.”
For that, it is considered “an action against the IMF for economic damages to impose policies of privatization.
