Reading Green Fest is partnering with this year’s Reading Water Fest. It aims to celebrate the green and environmental groups in Reading and get you engaged in environmental issues!
The festival will be taking place in town centre in Town Hall Square and St Laurence’s church from 11am to 5pm on Saturday 11 June.
There will be pedal generators for kids of all ages, a life size “corporate monopoly” game, and activities from local groups including Berkshire Greenpeace, Reading Friends of the Earth, Transition Town Reading, Reading Food Growing Network and more. All groups will have stalls displaying what they do and giving you the chance to find out more and sign up to get involved.
Tasty vegan food will be served in St Laurence’s along with short films such as “Where’s Reading Heading” and “Local Food Roots”
